Beccy qualified in 1990 from Chelsea School of Chiropody with a Diploma in Chiropody, since then she has furthered her studies at Durham University and now has a BSc and MSc in Chiropody / Podiatry. She has also attained a teaching certificate for higher education. She has extensive experience in both the private sector and NHS and has been running her business for the past 10 years. Although she has experience in all fields of Chiropody Beccy specialises in Diabetes.
Since qualifying from Birmingham School of Chiropody she has gained extensive experience in both the private sector and NHS. She has attained a teaching certificate and become a member of the Podiatry Association, has held a managerial post in Podiatry for North Staffordshire and was advisor to the Department of Health. She has a particular interest in people with physical, sensory and learning difficulties.
I qualified in the 1980s from the Northern School of Chiropody where I attained a higher Diploma in Podiatric Medicine; I also have a BSc in Podiatry. I have plenty of experience in the private and NHS environment specialising in the assessment of new patients and the treatment of nail conditions, including surgery.
Karen has been with the practice since it first started and is the resident domestic manager ensuring that the clinics are as clean as possible. First impressions are important and there is nothing worse than a dirty clinic. Karen is also a carer for the older generation and helps in issues of welfare that occur at the clinic.
