Here at Premier Feet we take your privacy very seriously and will only use your personal information to provide the products and services you have requested from us.
During your time with Premier Feet we need to hold some of your personal information during the course of your ongoing treatments, such as contact details for appointment purposes. As a requirement of our clinical professional standards we also need to store your clinical notes on the premises, which contain past medical history and details of treatment sessions.
We at Premier Feet have no intention of sharing your contact details or your clinical record details with a third party unless you have given your expressed written consent. Your data will not be used for any automated profiling purposes or business marketing.
You have the right to see your records, and letters written, concerning your treatment upon written request. We will be happy to help without prejudice to your ongoing treatment. You have the right to have personal data deleted on written request and to withdraw consent for further treatment, however, we are required under law to retain clinical notes of past treatments.
Clinical notes for all adult patients are archived after four years and securely destroyed after eight years. Those seen of an age under 16 would have their notes securely archived until they are destroyed when they reach 21.
All clinical notes are stored securely on site and are only available to authorized company staff. Personal details are stored securely on a cloud-based computerized diary system provided by “Private Practice Software”.
If you have any concerns about data protection at Premier Feet please write directly to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
If you have any queries concerning your data storage and usage at Premier Feet please contact Rebecca Carter, registered data controller.
